We worked with Looking Glass Builders in 2017 on several renovations at our home. What a wonderful company. They took our vision and turned it into reality - on time and budget. What more can you ask.

In an industry which often receives a black eye from less than reputable players, Looking Glass Builders and Wes Wiseman truly stand apart. Words like integrity and honesty get tossed around too easily and are assigned to people and companies that aren’t worthy of the accolades. That’s not the case here… not by a long shot. You would hard pressed to find better builder for your new construction or remodel. Without question, Wes is the first and only call my wife and I will have to make when it comes time for our next home build.

The Looking Glass Builders team handled extensive repairs to our house after Hurricane Helene. As general contractors, they managed our project which included new roof shingles, repair to roof rafters, replacing windows, shingles shake siding, walnut floors, kitchen/bath cabinetry, interior/exterior painting, tile installation and much more. They are very professional, responsive and communicate effectively. Looking Glass Builders crafted a detailed budget for the project and kept costs within that budget. They work with a good team of sub-contractors and Looking Glass Builders ensured that all work was done to a high quality. We are pleased with the end result and I would highly recommend.

Wes and Looking Glass built our home. What we liked from the very beginning was the communication from Wes, the outstanding quality of each team that he utilized - from site prep, to framers, plumbing, electrical and on. First rate. He is honest and should always be considered. The home he built for us 7+ years ago has had next to zero issues at all. Whatever tiny things we have asked from Wes after we moved in he was always prompt to address.

Wes and his team were fantastic! I am so pleased with the renovation to my condo. They were efficient, professional and timely. Timeliness is something you rarely see and he finished on the deadline proposed and everything was so well done. Looking Glass Builders did an amazing job enlarging our family room by knocking down a wall to a small (wasted) sitting room. They knew what they were doing! From putting up a support beam to picking out beautiful trim, creating an amazing fireplace surround with a natural wood mantle, and creating a beautiful natural breakfast bar! The workers are super nice and respectful. They cleaned up each evening so we weren't living in chaos. I can't recommend them enough!! They will be returning this summer to build us an amazing deck!!

We completed a 19 month renovation with LGB. Our experience was very positive. Wes is well versed in historic preservation and led us in making good decisions as we restored our 100+ year old home. We are very satisfied with the finished product!

Their home had an amazing view of My Pisgah looking west. It was located between Asheville and Hendersonville NC in the gated community Ridgeview at 383 Ridgeview Hill Drive, Hendersonville 28791. As previous Maine residents, I am so honored they are a part of our community!
